Eight acting committee members met to start planning our first event,
a social gathering to build the community of assistants and associates
in Chicago. It will provide an opportunity to learn about other
members in the area, and for people of all experience levels to
network and get to know each other.
While details are still being determined, it will probably be
Wednesday May 27th or Thursday May 28th. We’re contacting local bars
to find an appropriate venue and to negotiate drink and food
specials. The event will be open to ASMP members for free, and to non-
members for a small fee.
To stimulate casual creative discussions about photography, invitees
are encouraged to bring an 8×10 print of one of their images to share.
